Twenty-two ladies are attending the 2016 Olympics who know how to win. They are the women of the USA Women’s National Soccer Team. Many of these athletes have been part of a hugely successful women’s soccer program in the U.S., that includes a World Cup Championship last year and a gold medal from the 2012 Olympics in London. Their success comes at the hand of extensive preparation and dedication to the sport. Here’s what some of the ladies would say had they been Kazi users.
The Olympics is so much more than just soccer. It’s all these incredible athletes competing hard and representing their country with pride and integrity. It’s an amazing thing to be a part of. I wouldn’t be here without the huge family I have behind me.
I wouldn’t be here without the family I have behind me. This is a sport that I knew I loved, but being joined with so many other hardworking folks took my love for the game to a new level. All of those years we coordinated the team on Kazi every week to get together and kick the ball around and sincerely enjoy the sport while getting better together. That’s what this is all about. Getting better together. Whether you are playing soccer or just getting together for an adventure, becoming a better version of yourself is always easier with a great group of people to do it with.
Becky Sauerbrunn, Co-Captain, and Defender
This is my third Olympics, and every time feels like a dream. Not to mention, no team has ever come from winning a World Championship to then winning an Olympic gold medal. It’s what we are set out to do, and I am honored to be a part of it.
Becky said it right when she said it’s all thanks to the community around me that makes us able to compete on such a high level. We have to work together, no matter if a player has had 3 Olympics under her belt, or was shocked to make the team for the first time, this is a group of people who are entrenched in this process. We all have our goals, both for the team and for ourselves. That’s why Kazi made it so easy to hold each other accountable. We all have been checking in on the app and tracking the days we need to meet for workouts and training. Don’t forget; we also have a very good time. We love using technology to prepare us to be our best selves, and it’s our preparation that will take home the Gold for the USA.
