The Adventures Are Just Beginning

Today is the longest day of the year. There’s more time today to see the ball on the court, and the longest time to run a trail without getting lost. It also marks the start of many summer adventures. It’s a time when you can go for a run and still feel the warmth of the sun long after you’ve eaten dinner. Catch up with old friends, try something new, but whatever you do, don’t stay inside on this beautiful day. Trust us, we’ve got backup on this one:

“It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to.” — Bilbo Baggins

“A vigorous five-mile walk will do more good for an unhappy but otherwise healthy adult than all the medicine and psychology in the world.” — Paul Dudley White

“..every time I travel, I learn something new and hopefully I get to be a better person.” –  Yvon Chouinard, Founder of Patagonia

“Here’s to freedom, cheers to art. Here’s to having an excellent adventure and may the stopping never start.”  ― Jason Mraz

Doctor to patient: “What fits your busy schedule better, exercising one hour a day or being dead 24 hours a day?”- Randy Glasbergen
